Aleksei Rakitin

Dr. Aleksei Rakitin is a senior neurologist, who obtained his medical education from Tartu University. In 2017 he defended doctoral dissertation about metabolic effects of valproate in people with epilepsy. In his medical practice he specializes in epilepsy pharmacological treatment, long-term video-EEG monitoring. One of the main topics of his research is management of epilepsy in pregnancy. Dr. Rakitin is Estonian national coordinator of EURAP registry.
