Dalia Musneckienė

Dalia Musneckiene is Professor of Neurology at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LUHS) and full-time neurologist at the Department of Neurology, Hospital of LUHS. Since 2009, she has led the Subdivision of Neurodegenerative Diseases and the Multiple Sclerosis Center at LUHS.

She completed her neurology residency at Kaunas Medical University in 1992, later participating in collaborative studies with Trondheim University Hospital, Norway, on chronic whiplash and postconcussion syndromes, resulting in several international publications. In 2006, she defended her PhD thesis on postconcussion syndrome.

Since 2007, Professor Musneckiene has focused on multiple sclerosis, specializing in demyelinating diseases and focal dystonias. Her research interests include adherence to disease-modifying therapies, MS comorbidities, and real-world clinical practice. She has authored numerous publications in these fields.

She is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Neurologists, Lithuanian Headache Association, EAN, and EHF. From 2010, she has served on the editorial board of Neurologijos seminarai, and from 2012 to 2016 was a Lithuanian representative on the ECTRIMS Council.
