David J. Kopsky 

Dr. David J. Kopsky is a medical doctor with a dedicated focus on neuropathic pain.
He graduated from VU University Amsterdam Medical School in 2002.
As co-founder and director of the Institute for Neuropathic Pain in Soest, he has advanced the field of topical analgesic therapies.
In 2023, he co-founded the Pain Medical Center to expand innovative pain care.
His clinical work emphasizes practical solutions for complex neuropathic conditions. Kopsky has set up and coordinated clinical trials on topical phenytoin and other analgesics. His research has contributed to understanding mechanisms and response tests for topical pain therapies. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Pain Research.
