Dr. Juho Joutsa is a Professor of Neurology at University of Turku and Chief Neurologist at Turku University Hospital, Finland. He graduated from University of Turku and completed his postdoctoral trainging at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Currently, Prof. Joutsa leads a 30-person research lab (Brain Stimulation and Neuroimaging laboratory, TurkuBrainlab) and acts as the director of Turku Movement Disorders Center. Despite his young age, he has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers of which several in the leading journals of the field, Focusing especially on movement disorders and brain lesions.
