Jurgita Valaikienė

Jurgita Valaikiene, MD, PhD is an associate professor at Vilnius University. She is a senior neurologist and the Head of the Neurosonology Laboratory, certificated as European Reference Center in Neurosonology at Vilnius University Center of Neurology, Lithuania. Since 2022, she has been elected as the Lithuanian Ambassador of the Council of Nations of European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics. Her current clinical and research interests include clinical neurosonology, cerebrovascular diseases, and neuroinfections. In addition, she is a curator of the postgraduate training courses “Clinical Neurosonology” and a collaborative teacher of teaching courses at Vilnius University and international conferences.
