
Katrin Sikk
Dr. Katrin Sikk is a neurologist and clinical researcher specializing in movement disorders. She is currently the Head of the Neurology Centre at the North Estonia Medical Centre and holds a part-time position as a Research Fellow in Neurology at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, University of Tartu.
Dr. Sikk earned her medical degree from the University of Tartu in 1999 and completed her neurology residency at Tartu University Hospital and the North Estonia Medical Centre in 2006. She obtained her PhD in 2013 with a dissertation focused on manganese-ephedrone intoxication and its neurological impacts.
Dr. Sikk is a board member of both the Estonian Society of Neurologists and Neurosurgeons and the Estonian Movement Disorders Society, where she served as President from 2018 to 2024.
