Sintija Strautmane

Dr. Sintija Strautmane is a Latvian neurologist currently practicing at Riga East Clinical University Hospital, the Sleep Disorders’ Centre, Professor Skride Heart Clinic, and Polyclinic Plavnieki in Riga. She completed her medical degree and neurology residency at Riga Stradins University and Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital, with additional clinical training in Italy through the ERASMUS+ programme and a professional exchange in sleep medicine in Toronto, Canada. Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Strautmane lectures at the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Riga Stradins University. She has authored 14 publications h-index: 3 and is an active member of the Latvian Medical Association, Latvian Society of Neurologists, European Academy of Neurology, Latvian Sleep Medicine Society, and European Sleep Research Society. Fluent in Latvian, English, and Russian, she combines her professional expertise with a passion for music, playing the cello, and is committed to advancing neurological care and sleep medicine in Latvia and beyond.
